It can compete with any ornamental plant in your area thanks to the purple inflorescences at the tips of the plant feathers, which are also edible.
They are decorate with dishes, creating interesting contrasts in both taste and color.
You can use fresh onion feathers of this variety from the beginning of spring to late autumn.
Description of Chives variety:
seed cultivation is possible even at low temperatures of about 40 F;
unpretentious to care, but requires abundant watering and moist soil;
for growing and obtaining high yields, non-acid soils should be preferred;
not prone to various diseases;
perennial culture;
planting is carried out in the soil in April to May.
