Grilled Steak and Vegetables with Seeds of Change Sesame Ginger Teriyaki Simmer
This Japanese-inspired dish is perfect when you want a meal thats savory and satisfying. Organic Seeds of Change simmer sauce marinates the steak to tender, succulent perfection, and the vegetables and whole grains round out the meal with even more flavor.
Prep Time: 15 minutes Marinating Time: 2 hours Cooking Time: 20 minutes
Servings: 4
Directions
1. Place steak and ½ package of Seeds of Change Sesame Ginger Teriyaki Simmer Sauce in plastic zip-top bag.
2. Refrigerate at least 2 hours.
3. Heat grill to medium high heat.
4. Remove steak from marinade and discard marinade.
5. Place steak on grill, cover, and cook 5 minutes.
6. Turn over steak and continue cooking until center is pink about 4 to 5 minutes.
7. Remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes. Cut steak across grain into slices; set aside.
8. Meanwhile, heat oil in 10-inch skillet, over medium heat.
9. Add carrots, celery and onion.
10. Cook, stirring occasionally, until vegetables are crisp tender (5 to 6 minutes).
11. Add remaining half of Seeds of Change Sesame Ginger Teriyaki Simmer Sauce packet; continue cooking, stirring occasionally, until sauce is heated through (2 to 3 minutes).
12. Heat Seeds of Change Seven Whole Grains Rice according to package directions.
13. To serve: place warm Seeds of Change Seven Whole Grains Rice on plate and surround with meat slices and vegetables.
14. Garnish with radishes and bean sprouts if desired.
15. Refrigerate leftovers.

2 tablespoons sesame oil or extra virgin olive oil
1 cup peeled, julienned carrots
1 cup sliced celery
1 cup red onion pieces
1 (8.5 ounce) package Seeds of Change Seven Whole Grains Rice
